Samira a porcelain doll by Patricia Stevens Loveless.

Patricia Loveless, a respected doll artist known for her exquisite costume designs is pleased to introduce Samira, the Moroccan mother with her child. The mother , Samira and her child are exotic creations which reflect the love and beauty represented in motherhood the world over.

Patricia's original sculpture of the mother is recreated in artist quality porcelain which compliments her inherent beauty. The child is a reproduction of, "Dream Baby", one of the most desirable of the early antique porcelain babies. The costumes for both mother and child are original designs by Patricia based on authentic tribal costumes which are found in West Africa and the Sahara. The mother's beautiful gown is draped in a classic decorative over-scarf style which characterized much of the dress in Moroccan and West African villages.

Samira is a numbered limited edition which is only available through the World Gallery of Dolls & Collectibles. She is inscribed with the edition numbered and the artist's personal signature marked in 18kt gold on the back of the neck.

Samira is a porcelain doll by Patricia Stevens Loveless.  She is number 224/2000 has brown eyes, real eyelashes. She measures 29” in height and is wearing her original outfit.  I have located her COA. She was purchased from an estate sale so I do not know the complete history. Thank you for looking!
