Trudy a porcelain doll by Margie Costa

Trudy is a porcelain doll by Margie Costa. She stands at 15” in height, has beautiful green eyes with real eyelashes.  Noticeable freckles across her nose and upper blushed cheeks.  She wears a flora dress, and Mary Jane shoes.  Her head, arms and legs are porcelain and the body is cloth.  Her puppy accompanies her on a leash.  She is numbered at 2024/5000.  She was a closed edition in the 2000 numbers, so the full amount of 5000 was never made. She was made in the late ninety’s and was bought originally from HSN. She was purchased from an estate sale so I do not know the complete history. Thank you for looking!

 Explanation for rating less than mint condition:

Trudy is great condition but appears to have been displayed. There is a tiny rust color speck on her dress yoke. The little dog is in mint condition.  I have read that Trudy came with a little felt hat.  It is possible the hat is still in boxes yet to sort.  If you purchase this doll and the hat is found at a latter time it will be sent to you at no charge.  If not found the sale stands as listed.  Same goes with the COA.  It is unlikely that I have it though, but still possible!
